New Mexico

Each time I am about to head west to neighboring New Mexico I ponder the thought that maybe I’ve exhausted my photographic creativity of that landscape. That maybe I’ve seen all that I can see and the best shots are behind me. That, of course, never stops me from traveling, if  for no other reason than to devour the stuff sopapilla at Michael’s Kitchen in Taos.

Each time, however, I come back home with some images that make the trip worthwhile.  Last weekend, after doing some business in Amarillo, I drove on out to Santa Fe to spend the weekend wandering with my camera. Here are some of the scenes that I shot. I was pleased with the results.
